A Much Better Day!

What a difference a day makes……Sarah is fever free and back to herself!!!

First thing this morning, we headed to the beach!

Well, Sarah’s first impression of the beach was interesting……..she freaked out the minute her feet hit the sand……she hated it……..she went from towel to towel and chair to chair without so much as touching the ground. She would go into the water, but hated the sand….I even had water shoes on her so that she would not feel the sand……didn’t matter!

After about an hour at the beach, she passed out in my arms and slept for two hours…..must be something about the ocean air…..because normally I have to beg and plead her to take a nap….especially on vacation!

Finally after all the cousins got to the beach, she left the confines of her blanket and ventured out into the sand with her shovel and pail……thank heaven, because I thought we would be in for a very long week at the beach!!!

After one day, she is now adjusting and loving the water and sand…..Nick and Eddie spent the day on their skim boards and were just exhausted by the time we got back…..Nick actually fell asleep at 5:30 while we were making dinner.

All in all, we had an awesome day! We are ready for round two…..I have been trying to upload a video but seem to be having some difficulty….maybe tomorrow!!!

I did put together a slideshow of some of todays pics!!!

Sarah’s First Dip In The Ocean!!!
