Black and White Wednesday – “He’s Got the Touch”

Big Brother BLOG IT 3
There was an instantaneous bond that seemed to exist between them.

Big Brother BLOG IT 6
It’s as if they’ve known each other forever.

Big Brother BLOG IT 2
She immediately had him wrapped around her finger.

Big Brother BLOG IT 7
Her face lights up whenever he enters the room.

Big Brother BLOG IT 4
He loves to pick her up, carry her around, and play with her.

Big Brother BLOG IT 8
She is very comfortable with him and feels safe in her big brother’s arms.

Big Brother BLOG IT 1
He loves to tickle and kiss her and she just eats it up.

Big Brother BLOG IT 5
Whether he is holding her close, or watching her from a distance, his face is very telling of the love and admiration he has towards his new baby sister.

I can’t explain it, but Nick just has this way about him when it comes to little ones.

He has the magic touch . . .

and that touch granted him entry into Reagan’s heart . . .

from the moment they met.

share to:

  • Margaret Bednar - Your post today reads like poetry. Beautiful. I remember my husband of 20 years now had just the opposite reaction from my niece when we were dating. I don’t know if it was because he was so dark of hair and eyes, but when she was 18 months old, whenever she saw him the night we were babysitting, she SCREAMED. He had to sit out on the porch for over an hour. All these years later, she does like him. But, oh the laughs we have over that memory.ReplyCancel

I see a big change in Reagan, all her features are relaxing now, and her happiness is shining through.
The look of pure, unconditional love between the two of them is something to behold.
I am so, so happy for you, that after all the waiting and all the hard work, it’s now paying off.
And I echo other comments that it’s good to see all your children safe under one roof. You and Pat have waited a long time for this, so bask in the glow, lady!
