4-Week Comprehensive Beginner Class
This is a beginner class that will be focused on the basics of natural light photography. It will move you past the automatic mode or the little green box as we commonly refer to it.
You will receive detailed outlines complete with photos and diagrams for the lessons each week. You will also receive weekly assignments to help you comprehend the content we are learning. In addition, you will be invited to join a private facebook group where you can ask questions, post your images, and access video tutorials.
Brief Overview of the Information Covered
Week 1: Understanding Camera Functions – Aperture, ISO, Shutter Speed
Week 2: Exposure and Tackling the Manual Mode
Week 3: Finding the Light and Creative Composition
Week 4: Metering
All classes are held online, so you can jump into our private forum and work when it is convenient for you and at your own pace.
What do I need to participate?
For this class you will need a DSLR camera, your camera manual(you might need to reference it from time to time), and your lens of choice (if you have a prime or fixed lens like a 50mm or an 85mm that would be best, but if you don’t we can work with what you already have) and last but not least, you need access to the internet and a facebook account so you can join our private group.
